VetAIScribes is an independent resource for veterinary professionals evaluating AI documentation tools. We understand that choosing the right AI scribe is a significant decision—it affects how your team works, your practice's efficiency, and your own work-life balance.

Our mission is to provide honest, hands-on testing and reviews of veterinary AI scribes. We don't accept payment from vendors for reviews, placement, or recommendations. We purchase our own subscriptions, test products in real clinical environments with real patients, and focus on what actually works—not what sounds good in a marketing presentation.

How We Test

Every product review on VetAIScribes is based on actual clinical use. We test AI scribes in real appointment settings across diverse specialties: small animal, emergency, equine, exotic, and more. We evaluate accuracy, speed, ease of use, integration with EMRs, and mobile functionality. We look at real data from real patients, not demo scenarios or test appointments.

Our reviews answer the questions that matter to practicing veterinarians: Does this actually save time? Are the notes accurate enough to rely on? Will my team adopt it? What's the learning curve? How much does it actually cost?

Our Independence

VetAIScribes remains independent and neutral. We don't receive funding from AI scribe vendors, we don't accept sponsorships, and we don't let companies pay for favorable placement in our reviews. The only bias in our recommendations is toward solutions that genuinely work for veterinarians.

When we identify a product as the best option for a particular practice type, it's because our testing showed it outperformed alternatives in the metrics that matter. When we note limitations, it's because we found them in real use.
